The Redwood County Highway department is committed to providing a safe and effective transportation system for all users which is both responsive to the communities needs and within budget. To achieve this, the department prepares a five-year Highway and Bridge Plan to maintain and improve the infrastructure. The plan is developed by the County Board and Highway department team to aid with budgeting, planning, programming, project development, design and construction of highway and bridge improvement projects across the County.
The County Board of Commissioners will hold a Board workshop to review the 2024 - 2028 Road and Bridge Plan. The public is invited to attend to receive information and offer suggestions on the proposed construction plan. The workshop will be hosted in person on May 2, 2023 from 11am to 12:30pm at the Redwood County Highway Department, 1820 East Bridge Street, Redwood Falls.
On June 6, 2023 at 11am a Public Hearing will be held to adopt the Five-Year Road and Bridge Plan. The hearing will be held at the Redwood County Highway Department at 1820 East Bridge Street, Redwood Falls.
